Servicing & Repairs

SRS equipment is designed to have low maintenance requirements, however for piece of mind we can provide servicing after your warranty period has expired. This can take the form of a one-off visit or, as many of our customers prefer, an annual service contract at a reduced rate. Please contact us for more details.

Should repair work be required, one of our representatives will arrange a repair visit to your site as soon as possible.  This may be subject to a survey prior to work being carried out.

To report a problem with your flat bed cutter or Vectaspark system, please contact us at our support email address - [email protected]. Please provide as many details as possible to allow us to resolve your issue as quickly and easily as possible.  A Spectrum engineer, or one of our agents will contact you as soon as possible to discuss a suitable resolution to your problem.

Telephone Support

If you contact us regarding a machine problem or require operational instructions, we are happy to offer telephone support to attempt to resolve any issues you may have.  Please contact us and ask to speak to one of our technical team. Free telephone support is provided as standard with any new equipment purchased from SRS.

Operator Training

We offer mechanical and software training, for on site installation of new machines and for new operators who are unfamiliar with the equipment or process.  We also recommend operator training to supplement our retrofitting service.

Parts and Spares

If you require any components relating to our flatbed cutters or components related to the Vectaspark system such as dielectric oil and filters, please contact us and we will discuss your requirements. We may also be able supply parts and spares for the Microspark range of spark erosion machines.

Retrofitting Service

We can retrofit controls and generators for some Microspark  EDG machines.  We can take customer's existing Microspark systems and convert to 3 axis CNC with up to 40% improvement in stock removal and improved edge quality, plus our new touchscreen and software control.  Retrofitting service depends on condition and model of equipment.

Exchange machines may also be available with certain systems.
