Cutting Solutions

Spectrum cutting systems allow full production to be carried out without the need for additional equipment or parts which should be included anyway. From the initial cut profile data (which is imported into Spectrum’s control software) the system uses all of the data and variables and outputs them into motion system operations, tool head functions and any other functions that are required.

Our standard systems are of "flat bed" design, where a machine frame surrounds the aluminium table surface. The cross-axis beam (where applicable) travels along modules on the framework, allowing full tool head movement without interfering with the materials etc on the table surface. We offer a vacuum hold-down as standard, which prevents materials from moving out of position during the cut process.

Integrated with the motion system is the console and PC workstation which acts as a centre for electrical and software activity required during usage. Virtually none of these aspects require knowledge by the end user. Most of the aspects that do require user interaction are controlled through the easy-to-use control software.

Spectrum offer a range of optional extras in additional to the standard machine features. Some of these options include - plotting facility, material bar and remote pendant.
